The White Christmas song is great but really we have had enough snow here. Since yesterday was warm (30) and no snow was falling we grabbed the grandkids and headed off to the Krohn Conservatory.
The Krohn is a toasty 75 degrees inside.
Jack and Henry are waiting for the Thomas Train to come around the bend.
You will find a giant music box, desert garden, orchids and a cave at the Krohn.
Later that night we went to Jake’s winter concert. I always like to get there early to snag a good seat and visit with friends. Our older daughter Jenny and Henry joined us.
Here is the official photographer of the concert and I might have begged him just a little to take a great picture of Jake…
If you squint real hard you can see Jake in the front row smack dab in the middle.
Henry was perfect and could see everything by sitting on 2 coats. My daughter Jenny looks exactly like me if you would add 50 pounds, white hair and wrinkles.
A great day doing merry things.
What I learned today: It’s always good to dream about a white christmas until you have to get out and shovel that white stuff. Oh I get it, life takes hard work and it never looks like it does in the pictures………………….
