We have a routine on Thursday that rarely changes. Sam and I drop Jacob off at “Men’s Day” where he hangs with 3 friends and we head to Pipkins, our local green grocer and nursery. Now that the nursery is in full swing we had to check it out. Sam found many things he wanted to buy and so did I. We then headed inside where he helped me pick out produce. Today he learned to shuck corn and pick out a nice firm tomato. I only had to tell him to focus 4 or 5 times before we headed back to the car where he got to sit in the front seat and listen to Elvis on the radio. Sam is a different guy without big sister or brother telling him what he can and can’t do. Mr. Personality sang me Elvis songs all the way home. I love Thursday!
