If you have Celiac disease you…can’t eat the bread you cut for the Youth Group spaghetti dinner…
you can’t eat the spaghetti or meatballs that you serve at the spaghetti dinner…
But you CAN help serve the spaghetti dinner and help raise funds for the Youth Group mission trip!
And you meet the most interesting people at these fund-raisers. Here Sam is serving the fascinating man who I live with….the Hunk/Dad!
What is celiac disease?
Celiac disease is a digestive disease that damages the small intestine and interferes with absorption of nutrients from food. People who have celiac disease cannot tolerate gluten, a protein in wheat, rye, and barley. Gluten is found mainly in foods but may also be found in everyday products such as medicines, vitamins, and lip balms.
