Susan is a wife, mother, and special needs advocate. She and her husband Jim, AKA the Hunk, have six children including Jennifer (30-something), Derek (31), Daniel (29), April (24), Jacob (19), and Samuel (15). April was born in 1988 and was shortly diagnosed with Down syndrome. Jacob and Samuel also have Down syndrome and were adopted into the family as infants. Susan enjoys encouraging others with her experiences as a parent. She enjoys being encouraged by peanut M&M’s.

 Jennifer is a wife, mother, and speech-language pathologist. She grew up the oldest of six children – the youngest three diagnosed with Down syndrome. Jennifer now works for a nationally recognized pediatric hospital, specializing in communication disorders in children and adolescents with Down syndrome.
